Hello! I’m a UX/UI designer with a degree in Fine Arts.
Before shifting into UI design, I worked in a number of different positions in academic libraries, including as a UX Librarian, which was when I first discovered my passion for designing usable and beautiful products. During this time, I built skills in running usability studies, crafting user personas, and designing accessible webpages. UI design brings together my aesthetic skills, and my desire to do work that genuinely makes a positive impact in people’s lives.
As a librarian, I also ran social media campaigns, managed accessibility services, and designed library webpages. With the experience of having worked as a university faculty member, I bring experience working with teams using project management principles, as well as a strong understanding of information literacy and information architecture.
My key skills include:
- User research (competitive analysis, user interviews)
- User flows
- Usability testing
- Visual design
- Style guides
- Wireframing
- Prototyping
- Adobe XD
